Terms of Service
DriveLink Africa operates a technology platform connecting clients with independently registered professional drivers. Users must provide accurate information, protect their accounts, use the service lawfully, and treat other users respectfully. A booking is subject to driver acceptance, availability, payment confirmation, and the displayed cancellation rules.
Prices shown before confirmation are calculated by the platform. Additional services or route changes must be agreed through the platform. Fraud, harassment, unsafe conduct, account sharing, and attempts to bypass platform safeguards may lead to suspension.
Privacy Policy
We process identity, contact, booking, payment-reference, device, support, and trip-location information to provide bookings, verify drivers, prevent fraud, respond to emergencies, meet legal obligations, and improve service reliability. Payment PINs are entered only through M-Pesa and are never received or stored by DriveLink.
Access is limited by role. Driver documents are stored outside the public website directory. We share data only with service providers needed for email, SMS, payments, hosting, maps, support, safety, and lawful requests. Contact support@drivelinkafrica.com to request access, correction, objection, or deletion where legally available.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Clients may cancel a pending or accepted booking in the application. A successful payment for a cancelled service is reviewed before refund. M-Pesa and banking processing times may apply. No automatic refund is promised until the operations team verifies the booking, payment reference, and any services already delivered.
Driver Agreement
Drivers must maintain valid identification, licensing and requested vetting documents; follow applicable road and safety rules; protect client information; keep availability accurate; and perform only accepted bookings. Approval is discretionary and may be suspended when documents expire, safety concerns arise, or platform rules are breached. Earnings are credited only after both completed service and confirmed payment.
Safety Guidelines
Confirm the booking and counterpart identity in the application. Do not share verification codes or M-Pesa PINs. Use the SOS feature for active-trip incidents and contact Kenya emergency services directly when immediate assistance is required. DriveLink's SOS feature assists reporting but does not replace police, ambulance, medical, or insurance services.
Account Deletion
Signed-in clients and drivers can submit an account-deletion request through support. We verify ownership and remove or anonymise eligible information. Records needed for payments, fraud prevention, safety investigations, disputes, tax, or other legal obligations may be retained for the required period and access-restricted.
